Hi,

In order to write application on Netconf server extension using executables, does changes require in ConfD library/server code also to perform defined operation in yang file, or only we need to write yang file and executable (instrumentation) code.

Shri Prakash

Hi,

A good way to understand the practical use of ConfD is to study the examples that come with ConfD. For example, you can take a look at the examples.confd/intro/1-2-3-start-query-model example and then modify it to work with the Linux Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Server:

> [@How to HUP the daemon in the intro/1-2-3-start-query-model example?](http://discuss.tail-f.com/t/how-to-hup-the-daemon-in-the-intro-1-2-3-start-query-model-example/180/3):
