# Examples on the REST API

Hello,  
I have just started getting used to the confD version 6.4 and I’ve gotten to the chapter 21 where I need to quickly study on the REST API. However, I’m not finding the _ **examples.confd/rest/router** _ example in this version. Is there any version that has this **rest folder** or can anyone help me with the **rest folder**?

6.4 is old. The legacy REST API was replaced by RESTCONF API a long time ago
